Campus Minister Position
Our Campus Mission is Looking for You
We are looking for a full-time campus minister for Ambassadors for Christ (A4C) in Tucson, Arizona. Located in a low-cost-of-living city known for its mild winters, beautiful mountains, and Southwestern culture, Ambassadors 4 Christ (A4C) ministers to students at both the University of Arizona and Pima Community College. The University of Arizona is a flagship research university with 40,000 students from all around the world, while Pima Community College is one of the largest multi-site community colleges in the nation with 60,000 students. We are looking for an individual to connect, inspire, and transform the lives of these college-aged students. Our ideal candidate will not only forge deep spiritual relationships with the invested core of students and student leaders but will have a missional mindset that seeks to draw others into a life of discipleship with Jesus. Further, candidates that can relate to the struggles of being a college student (by having earned their own college degree) and have prior experience in campus ministry are highly preferred. Candidates should also have a strong Bible background and be able to effectively reach, teach, and preach.
Our campus ministry is overseen by the board of directors of the Arizona Campus Mission Foundation (ACMF). The board is made up of men and women from across Tucson who are invested in the success of the campus ministry. Our approach is to work with the campus minister to set vision and direction but to give the minister substantial flexibility to be a professional. The minister will have the autonomy to shape the campus ministry based on their giftedness in conjunction with the gifts of the associate campus minister and the current students.
Base Salary is $42,000 plus a $2,000 moving bonus with additional fundraising-based incentives. Send your resume to David Knapp, president of the ACMF Board of Directors, at knappattack2000 at Gmail to start the process.
